The Fifth Season specializes in outdoor gear that is the best of its kind. We honor suggested retail pricing and will not discount except at year-end sales or for a one of a kind item. We will not sell any product that is grey market or does not have a warrantee.

Shipping Charges for Online Orders
We do our very best to ship your gear quickly and package it exceedingly well. TOTAL PRICE ON YOUR SHOPPING CART INVOICE DOES NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING. SHIPPING CHARGES ARE ADDED WHEN WE SEND YOUR ORDER. We do not charge for handling and packaging cost. Our shipping costs reflect what we pay to send your order to you.

The Fifth Season standard shipping is FedEx ground. We will be happy to ship 2nd Day or Next Day at your request. These express shipping methods increase freight cost dramatically, so please keep this in mind when you order. (We will be happy go give you a quote if you wish to email us info@thefifthseason.com or phone 530.926.3606 10am to 5pm Pacific Time.) Please note that any installation and tuning tasks may require up to 72 hours to complete.

You will note that one shipping option when you submit your online order is "I will pick up in Mt. Shasta"...convenient if you plan to be in Mt. Shasta to collect your new gear, and in this case, there is no shipping charge at all. Please let us know, in the comment box, the day you plan to be in town, so we can have everything ready and waiting for you.

All shipping is insured, and we will email you tracking numbers. Shipping charges are not refunded should you return your purchase.

Oversized & Hazardous Items
A few items just won't fit into a delivery truck very well. For these larger items we may be required to ship FedEx Freight. In such cases we will email you an estimate.

Stove fuels are considered "Hazardous Materials", and as such will incur a $20 fee in addition to shipping charges, and will be shipped separately.

Store Pick-Up
If you prefer to pick your gear up at The Fifth Season there are no shipping charges.

International Shipping
We will gladly ship to foreign addresses providing FedEx can guarantee and insure delivery. Customs and duties are the responsibility of the buyer and may be charged prior to shipping, and is no guarantee that additional custom or duty charges may be incurred. We will email estimate prior to shipping.
